Welcome to Hidden Valley 


 

Located in the hills of Ourimbah on the NSW Central Coast of Australia, just over an hour from Sydney, Hidden Valley is a picturesque 370 acre farm retreat complete with horse riding, pool, tennis and many more activities for all the family to enjoy. 

Run as a co-operative since 1976, Hidden Valley offers members, their families and friends, unlimited access to a perfect rural getaway - without the expense and hassles of owning their own farm. 

 

How does it operate?

A live-in manager oversees the smooth running of the property, horse management and the provision of trail rides. Some members agist their own horses on the property but company horses cater to all levels of rider and are well loved by adults and children alike. 

Because Hidden Valley is a co-operative, members purchase their shares in the co-operative and then contribute to its maintenance and operation through a yearly levy. Membership allows unlimited access* to all the facilities, activities and benefits a visit to the Valley provides. This includes free horse riding, swimming pool, tennis, trail bike riding, bush walking and recreational golf, or if you prefer, the chance to just relax and do nothing at all! Occasional weekend working bees and special events are organised for the benefit and enjoyment of all.

Accommodation

Pull up a chair on the sunny verandah of the Hidden Valley cabin blocks, gaze upon acres of bushland and share a relaxing moment with some of the Valley's resident wildlife including peacocks, bush turkeys, blue wrens and kookaburras!

Members and their guests stay in cosy cabins in one of two cabin-blocks, or some prefer to camp in the separate camping area. Up to 120 people can be accommodated in the 24 four-berth and 4 six-berth cabins. Each cabin has bunk beds, basic storage areas for food and clothes, a bar fridge and food preparation area. Verandahs along the front of the cabins provide a beautiful outlook and house barbecues at each end.

All cabins have easy access to a centrally located toilet and shower block, laundry and kitchen, plus a large recreation area. This includes central barbecues, picnic tables and 'The Barn', Hidden Valley's common room with a warm log fire for cold winter nights.
