Horse Riding

Hidden Valley is a sport and recreation facility with an emphasis on horse riding activities. We have a company herd of horses for the use of members and guests and some members agist their own horses on the property. We conduct many horse riding and handling events which build confidence and competence in beginners and experienced riders alike.

Trail Rides

Located at the head of  Ourimbah Creek, Hidden Valley has over 320 acres of wonderful farmland and forest. There are many kilometres of trails with creek crossings, shaded rainforest tracks and ridgeline pathways. Bliss on horseback.

Horse Days

Members participate in  Horse Day weekends once a month throughout the year. These provide lessons and instruction in multiple disciplines. Whether your interest is show jumping, dressage, eventing, reining, western pleasure riding or just learning more about the care and handling of horses, our qualified instructors design programs to suit all levels and ages of rider.

Horse Camps

Every school holiday we run camps for member children. Intensive fun on horseback followed by a gymkhana. Parents also join in and we include non-horsey outings as well.

O.D.E.

Hidden Valley One Day Event is not to be missed. Over two days of dressage, show jumping and cross country, we host in excess of 160 riders to a top class competition. Held twice a year this event is one of our major highlights.
