Come and stay in one of our four or six berth cabin units and enjoy affordable family-style accommodation. Sit on the long verandah, watch the mist rise through the valley in the morning and listen to the horses whinnying in the paddocks below. Stroll to the kitchen via the herb garden and whip up a feast before setting out for the day on a trail ride or workshop. Hidden Valley has a newly renovated kitchen with all the facilities you need: oven, microwaves, stove, barbeque, kettles and toasters. Each room is equipped with a bar fridge and power outlets for your personal electrical appliances.
What to Bring
Food and Drink
Each cabin unit is equipped with a bar fridge. The nearest grocery store is the Bi-Lo in Lisarow Plaza only 15 minutes away.
Bedding and pillows
The beds are equipped with mattresses and mattress covers only.
Crockery and Cutlery
Bring plates, dishes, mugs, glasses, knives, forks, spoons. Our kitchen is equipped with most other cooking needs.
Clothing
Hidden Valley enjoys a mild climate but it can be hot in summer and chilly in winter so be prepared. Dress is decidedly casual and sometimes rustic. Boots are popular. During wet weather the wearing of a Drizabone is not a pose at Hidden Valley.
Heater or Fan as appropriate
The common rec room has a slow combustion fire for chilly winter nights. Cabins are well insulated but a small enclosed oil heater will take the chill off.
Sporting Equipment
Bring tennis racquets, tennis balls, golf clubs, golf balls, swimwear, mountain bikes, walking shoes/boots, riding clothes if intending to ride (riding boots are ideal). We provide helmets for horse riding if you don’t have your own.
Domestic Pets
Due to livestock and wildlife protection, no domestic pets are allowed on the property.
